Goody keeps himself stiff and angry until the other Alpha retreats. He manages to snarl out "That's right. MY mate. Let every damn one of you in this god forsaken town know that that man is mine and I'll take grave offence to anyone what tries to touch him. But only after he's done with you himself." He doesn't allow himself to relax until after the man is completely gone and they're alone again. Just him, Billy, and the damn door between them.
He sighs and turns fully to lean enough to get eye to eye with the new hole in the door. He can make out a nose pressed there and it makes him smile. He can't help but reach through the hole the knife had made to lightly touch the tip of Billy's nose. "Yes, he's gone and I'm so sorry for the mate thing. I know how you feel about that." He draws his hand away and leans against the door a little.
"I got you your water though. I'll leave it right next to the door and step away. That way, you can open the door in safety without worrying if I'll suddenly try and burst inside and have my way with you." Which is a very close thing to happening with how strong Billy's scent is and how much he's had to throw around his dominance tonight.
